I am leading Natural Product Discovery research direction at CAB (http://cab.spbu.ru/research/antibiotics-discovery/). Together with the Center for Computational Mass Spectrometry at UCSD and Mohimani Lab at Carnegie Mellon University, we are creating software for identification of known & discovery of novel natural products (secondary metabolites) of various origin and chemical structure. Our first tools were exclusively for metabolomics MS/MS data but now we are working more and more on paired genomic/metabolomics datasets. So, if you are studying natural products using MS/MS, genomics or both, let's discuss it and maybe we can even initiate a fruitful collaboration and discover some new antibiotics, incidentally :)
In the past, my main project was QUAST (http://cab.spbu.ru/software/quast/) and I still keep maintaining and improving it spontaneously. So, if you wish to discuss genome assembly evaluation metrics & methods, would be happy to chat about it, too.
